Motor nodes with the driver, encoder, controller and gearbox built in. Plug in a USB-C charger, open the app in a browser, move. They’re the units our commercial leader arm is built from.

**01** Why nodes

## It’s found, named and ready when you plug it in.

01

### No wiring puzzle

No driver, encoder, microcontroller and supply to match up. One calibrated unit.

02

### One app

Calibration, limits, jogging and live plots in the browser. The same app runs one node or a full station.

03

### Python when ready

Script one node or a dozen over CAN, from Python, ROS 2 or LeRobot.

04

### Test card in the box

Each unit’s measured numbers, printed and stored on the node.

**02** Planned prices

## Every node, in one list.

| No. | Node | Best for | What it is | USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A1.1 | SmartStepper 17 Board | Printers, CNC | Closed-loop controller for your own NEMA 17 | 79 |
| A1.2 | SmartStepper 17 · Direct | Axes, turntables | Direct drive on a calibrated NEMA 17 | 169 |
| A1.3 | SmartStepper 17 · 25:1 | Arm joints | Metal cycloidal and output encoder | 279 |
| A2.1 | SmartServo G Board | Own motors | FOC board for 2804 and 5208 motors | 89 |
| A2.2 | G-2804 · Direct | Pan, haptics | Direct-drive gimbal servo, no backlash | 159 |
| A2.3 | G-2804 · 20:1 | Wrists, grippers | Cycloidal, output encoder, I/O tile | 249 |
| A2.4 | G-5208 · Direct | Camera heads, benches | Larger direct-drive gimbal servo | 249 |
| A2.5 | G-5208 · 25:1 | Heavier joints | Cycloidal, output encoder, I/O tile | 399 |
| D3 | I/O tile | SmartServo G | Qwiic and AUX ports | 19 |
| B3 | Output encoder | Retrofit | Reads a reducer’s output angle | 29 |
| B1 | Contour | Depth | Time-of-flight depth over USB-C | Register interest |

Planned list prices. Nothing is on sale yet; registered interest sets the order of the first batch.

**03** Upgrade path

## Board, then node, then geared node.

Start with a board on your own motor, add our motor and housing later, then a reducer. The node keeps its identity and calibration history as it grows.

**04** Who it’s for

## For people who build.

01

### Printer and CNC upgraders

Closed-loop axes that report a stall instead of shifting a layer, on STEP/DIR from Klipper, Marlin or GRBL.

02

### Robot-arm builders

Joints that know their position, on one cable, without a pile of separate electronics.

03

### LeRobot and SO-101

Quiet, backdrivable joints with calibration that lives on the node, for leaders, wrists and grippers.

04

### FOC tinkerers

Field-oriented control on gimbal motors without assembling a driver, encoder, MCU and supply.

05

### Camera and astro rigs

Silent, repeatable moves for sliders, pan heads and turntables.

06

### University labs

Documented parts for courses and research rigs.
