Ways in / 02Robot data floors

Fewer rejected episodes. Every stream on one clock.

Sync QA, a motorized leader arm, commissioning and service for teleoperation stations, built from the nodes we sell on their own.

01Context

Data floors now compete on yield.

The price of finished teleop data has fallen fast. What’s left to win on is usable episodes per operator-hour, and stations that stay up.

$340 to $118

03Commissioning

New rigs, measured and signed off before the data counts.

Standing up a new floor or lab? We commission each station remotely: every stream measured, every camera checked, and a signed baseline that says the rig is in sync. A beacon stays on the station.

Skew Audit

A number about your own stations, in week one.

Record 20 episodes on one station with a loaner beacon. We read out every stream’s skew and the episodes it’s costing you.

04Built from nodes

A spare part is one node on a shelf.

The Leader is SmartServo G nodes on a Hub 8 Pro. The Sync Kit is a Sync Beacon and Contour Wrist on the same bus. The same units go to makers and robotics companies, built and tested in volume.

  • Repair is a node swap measured in minutes
  • Calibration and history stay with each node

06Questions
Who is Checkmate Dynamics?

A robotics hardware company in Dallas, Texas. We design motion, sensing and sync hardware (SmartStepper, SmartServo G, Contour, the Sync Beacon and Hub 8 Pro) and build station products from it.

What happens when something breaks?

Every Leader joint is the same kind of node, so a repair is a swap, not a visit. Planned service plans include advance replacement; terms are confirmed before a plan starts.

Do you see our data?

No. Recordings stay on your machines and everything works on-prem. We see only the reports you choose to send us.

Do the devices touch our network?

No. The beacon and Contour are USB devices with no radio and no network connection. The recorder plugin runs on your PC.

Will the beacon affect our training data?

It should not: the beacon is a separate USB device and changes nothing on your cameras. We walk through the details on a call.

We already sync our cameras in hardware.

Keep it. Hardware sync ties those cameras together; the beacon checks every stream on the station, including webcams, joint logs and wrist depth, and certifies each episode.

Can we try it first?

Start with a Skew Audit on one station. Register your interest and we agree the details on a call.

Twenty minutes, one station, a real number.
